Mumbai: At a time when the entire country is scared of contracting the deadly coronavirus, Rakhi Sawant has claimed that she is safe from the virus.
The reason? She has Jesus’ holy blood in her body!
“Mujhe corona nahi ho sakta, mujhe kabhi nahi hoga, kyunki mere shareer mein mere Yeshu ka pavithra lahoo hai. Isliye mujhe corona aur meri family ko nahi ho sakta (I will not contract corona. I can never get it because I have Jesus’ holy blood in my body. That’s why me and my family will not contract Covid-19),” she says in a video shared in social media.
A model, actress and TV show host, Rakhi is known to make controversial, and often funny, comments.
The Bigg Boss 14 contestant, who was spotted near a coffee shop Mumbai on Wednesday, voiced her concern about shortage of vaccines and offered to give her share of the vaccine to someone in need.
She went on to say that she will not contract coronavirus as she has given up all bad habits. “I’ve surrendered myself to God,” she said.
Rakhi conveyed her love and condolences to fellow-Bigg Boss contestant Nikki Tamboli, whose brother died due to COVID-19 complications.
