Khurda: A woman sustained serious injuries after some unidentified people attacked her on the premises of a police station in Odisha’s Khurda district on Wednesday.
As per reports, the woman had gone to file a complaint at Bolagarh police station in the district on the day. After she came out of the police station, the miscreants assaulted her. She sustained critical injuries in the attack.
Later, she filed a complaint with Khurda SP seeking action against her assailants. She has also threatened that if the attackers are not brought to book, she would resort to self-immolation in front of the police station.
The SP has assured her of necessary action on her complaint. A special police team would be formed to identify the accused and nab them in 2-3 days, the SP was quoted by local media as saying.
