Baripada: A woman died after giving birth to a baby inside a locked room at Baripada of Mayurbhanj district on Saturday.
As per the information, the woman locked herself inside a room after a disagreement with her husband and delivered the child there.

Getting information, the victim’s parents rushed to the spot and rescued her after breaking open the door of the room. The woman was immediately rushed to the hospital but she died on the way.
On the other hand, the newborn baby was admitted to a local hospital.
However, police have started investigation into the matter basing on the statements of the woman’s parents and her neighbours.
