Berhampur: A woman allegedly hacked her husband to death with an axe and later crushed his head with a brick at Talsara village under Beguniapada police limits of Odisha’s Ganjam district.
The deceased has been identified as Narayan Bhuyan.
The accused, Reena Bhuyan, reportedly hid the body inside the house after committing the crime in a fit of rage on Tuesday night. The incident is being attributed to a family dispute.
On being informed, police reached the spot and launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the murder.
