In a huge relief for Mi fans, Xiaomi is finally bringing Netflix on Mi TVs. Xiaomi has given teasers of Netflix welcome sound and quotes from popular Netflix shows on social media.
Mi Smart TVs didn’t have support for the world’s popular OTT provider and this has been one of the deal breakers for some buyers. Fans had to resort to additional devices such as Fire TV sticks to watch Netflix on Mi TVs. Xiaomi is already one of the top sellers of TVs in India, and adding Netflix could benefit the company more.
The teaser has the “Kabhi kabhi lagta hai apun hi bhagwaan hai” line from popular Netflix show ‘Sacred Games’ along with the info that it will be unveiled on September 17.

However, there’s no confirmation whether all Mi TV users will get Netflix or it will be limited to select models.
Xiaomi will be launching the new Mi Band 4 at the September 17 event.
