Gunupur: At least 10 persons, including nine students, were injured in a road accident at Gunupur in Rayagada district on Saturday.
The mishap took place when an autorickshaw, carrying nine students, was hit by a speeding motorcycle from behind. The injured students were rushed to Gunupur hospital.
The biker, who also sustained injuries in the accident, was admitted to a nearby hospital.
The students hailing from Khaira and Mering villages were on their way to Gunupur Model School when the accident occurred, reports said.
