16 More Succumb To COVID-19 In Odisha, Toll Mounts To 940

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 death toll in Odisha rose to 940 on Tuesday with 16 more patients succumbing to the disease in the last 24 hours.

Among the new deaths reported from 10 districts, 4 are from Balasore, 2 each from Cuttack and Khurda and one each from Bhubaneswar, Angul, Boudh, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Puri and Sonepur districts.

The Health Department has identified the deceased as:

1. A 57-year-old male of Angul district who was suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.
2. A 32-year-old male of Balasore district who was suffering from Diabetes.
3. A 65-year-old male of Balasore district who was suffering from Diabetes.
4. A 56-year-old male of Balasore district.
5. A 60-year-old male of Balasore district.
6. A 81-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.
7. A 38-year-old male of Boudh district.
8. A 62-year-old male of Cuttack district who was suffering from Diabetes & Myasthenia Gravis.
9. A 65-year-old male of Cuttack district who was suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.
10. A 55-year-old male of Khordha district who was suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.
11. A 70-year-old female of Khordha district who was suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease.
12. A 62-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district.
13. A 65-year-old male of Nabarangapur district who was suffering from Diabetes.
14. A 75-year-old male of Nayagarh district.
15. A 77-year-old male of Puri district who was suffering from Diabetes.
16. A 60-year-old male of Sonepur district who was suffering from Diabetes.
