Balasore: Two girl students suffered serious injuries after being hit by a speeding bus at Rupsa Square on NH-60 in Balasore district on Saturday.
The mishap occurred when Manasi Lenka and Rasmita Behera, both Plus II students of Nilamani College, were walking back home from college. The duo was rescued by locals and rushed to a local hospital in 108 ambulance.
Police have started investigation and efforts are on to nab the bus driver, who fled the spot immediately after the mishap.
