2 Miscreants Stab Trader & Loot Rs 60,000 In Odisha’s Deogarh

Deogarh: A young businessman was seriously injured after miscreants stabbed him to loot money in Odisha’s Deogarh district on Tuesday.

As per reports, the businessman, Kuna Nayak of Khaparsahi in Deogarh town, runs a shop at the weekly market near Tileibana square. After closing his shop on the day in the afternoon, he was returning home when two miscreants came on a bike and intercepted him.

The miscreants beat him up and stabbed him with a knife. As the 27-year-old trader fell down bleeding severely from his back, the miscreants snatched him money bag containing Rs 60,000 and fled.

Following the incident, the locals rushed the trader in Deogarh district headquarters hospital. His condition was stated to be stable.

On being informed, police went to the hospital and took the statement of the businessman. They have registered a case and launched a manhunt to trace the assailants.
