Ganjam: Ganjam district reported 38 new corona positive cases on Sunday, taking the affected tally to 891.
Ten of them are corona warriors of which, three are of Polsara, two of Chikiti, and one each of Chhatrapur, Ganjam, Rangeilunda, Bhanjanagar and KSNagar, Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange tweeted.

Four persons with travel history to Surat, and one each to Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Bangalore, and Kerala have also tested positive for the virus. They are the residents of Bellaguntha (1), Patrapada (1), Polosara (1), Purushottampur (1), Seragarh (1) and KSNagar (2).
Besides, 20 are active contact cases. These have been reported from Aska (2), Beguniapada (6), Bellaguntha (1), Polsara (1), Ganjam (2), KSNagar (5), Surada (2) and Dharkote (1).
All the affected have been shifted to the COVID hospital, the collector added.
With six deaths and 658 recoveries, Ganjam now has 227 active cases.
