COVID-19: 2 States Announce Vaccine Cost At Private Hospitals
New Delhi: With the second round of COVID-19 vaccination set to be launched for senior citizens and those with comorbidities from March 1, two states have announced the cost of vaccines at private hospitals. The vaccine will be free at government hospitals.
Maharashtra Health secretary Dr Pradeep Vyas told The Indian Express that the vaccine cost will be capped at Rs 150 per dose towards the vaccine and Rs 100 as service charges.
Similarly, Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel on Saturday announced that a dose will cost Rs 250 at private hospitals in the state.
Apart from senior citizens, people above 45 with comorbidities are eligible to register on the CoWIN app to get in line for the vaccination.
