Nayagada: Days after being booked for rape, former Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) of Sarankul Police Station in Odisha’s Nayagada district, Sujit Kumar Das, has been placed under suspension.
Sources said the suspension of Das, who had been shifted to the Nayagada district headquarters following registration of rape case against him, was ordered by Director General of Police (DGP) Y B Khurania.
