Mumbai: After several Bollywood celebrities, including Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Imran Khan and Shabana Azmi, extended their support to the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP)-led protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, speculation began over whether Shah Rukh Khan would also break his silence on the issue.
Amid the buzz, a screenshot purportedly showing a post from Shah Rukh’s social media account began circulating online, with many users believing that the superstar had finally reacted to the protest.
The alleged post, titled ‘Haar Mat Maanna’, addressed students and praised them for raising their voices for a transparent and fair system. It also urged them to continue their protest peacefully and called on authorities to take their demands seriously.
The text in the screenshot read, “To all the dear students, Tum logon ne dikhaya hai ke asli taakat kahan hai. books mein, pen mein, aur awaaz mein. Tumhara protest sirf ek exam ke against nahi, balki ek behtar, transparent, aur fair system ke liye hai. Har student deserve karta hai ki uski mehnat ka hisab ho, na ki kisi leak ya scam ka. Yeh ladai sahi hai, aur yeh zaroori hai. youth hi hamara future hai. Tum log frustrated ho sakte ho, thake hue ho sakte ho, lekin haar mat maanna. Apni baat peacefully rakho, apne haq ke liye ladte raho, lekin apne aap ko safe rakho. Desh ke leaders, authorities, aur hum sabko sunna chahiye students ki awaaz ko. Unki demands ko seriously lena chahiye, reforms laane chahiye, taaki aage se koi aur student aisa suffer na kare. Main tum sabke saath hoon, emotionally and morally…!!( To all the dear students, you have shown where true strength lies — in books, in pens and in your voices. Your protest is not just against an examination, but for a better, transparent and fair system. Every student deserves to have their hard work recognised, not have their efforts undermined by a leak or scam. This is a just fight, and it is an important one. The youth are our future. You may feel frustrated or exhausted, but do not give up. Continue to voice your concerns peacefully and keep fighting for your rights, but also ensure your safety. The country’s leaders, authorities and all of us must listen to the voices of students and take their demands seriously. Reforms must be introduced so that no other student has to suffer in the same way in the future. I stand with all of you, emotionally and morally.)”

However, the viral screenshot is fake, as SRK has not made any public statement on the ongoing protest.
A review of his official Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts also confirms that the superstar did not share any such post.
Fans of the actor also criticised the user for circulating a fake post and spreading misinformation on social media.
On the work front, Shah Rukh is currently busy shooting for Siddharth Anand’s action thriller ‘King’.
The film will also feature his daughter Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Raghav Juyal and Rani Mukerji in key roles and is slated to release on December 24, 2026.
