Bhubaneswar: Sara Khan, a third-year History Honours student at Hindu College, Delhi University, has brought pride to Odisha by being elected Vice-President of the college’s prestigious Student Parliament.
Hailing from Nabarangpur, Sara comes from a politically prominent family. Her father Muzibulla Khan (Munna Khan) is a former Rajya Sabha member.
Known for her academic excellence and eloquence, Sara’s talent was evident early on. While in Class 7, she delivered a powerful English speech on the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of former Odisha Chief Minister Biju Patnaik, earning praise from then Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other dignitaries.
Her victory in one of Delhi University’s most respected student forums has drawn widespread appreciation. For Odisha, Sara’s achievement is more than a personal milestone, it symbolises the state’s growing presence in national academic and leadership spaces.
