Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) here on Wednesday issued thunderstorm and rainfall alert for Rayagada and Koraput districts in Odisha till 6.30 pm.
“Latest satellite imagery indicate that moderate thunderstorm with light rainfall and lightning with squally wind speed reaching up to 30 to 40 kmph is likely to occur at one or two places in these two districts between 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm,” the IMD’s latest bulletin said.
