Micromax-backed Revolt Motors on Wednesday started taking bookings for its electric motorcycle RV 400. Prospective buyers can pay Rs 1000 and reserve the motorcycle on Amazon.
There have been 2,000 bookings already, according to the company. The company claims it is India’s first AI-enabled motorcycle. It will come with both Android and iOS apps by which riders can check stats such as charge level and service reminders.
The bike has an ARAI range of 156 km. The battery is removable and can be carried to a charging socket.
The bike, which was unveiled on June 13, features all-LED lighting, fully-digital dash, 4G connectivity and more. As an electric vehicle is almost soundless, the RV 400 is fitted with speakers to generate customised artificial exhaust sounds.
The RV 400 will initially be available in Delhi, followed by NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Chennai in the next four months.
It will be available in Rebel Red and Cosmic Black shades. Detailed specifications and pricing will be revealed at the launch.
