New Delhi: Rajarani Temple Complex in Bhubaneswar will remain open for public from sunrise till 9 pm.
It is among the 10 historical monuments across the country for which opening hours have been increased. Earlier these monuments remained open from 9 am to 5.30 pm.
Speaking to the media, Union Culture Minister (IC) Prahlad Singh Patel said that the decision was taken for the benefit of public/tourists who can visit and appreciate the beauty of such historical sites for long hours.
The Centre is also considering long opening hours for some other historical monuments, he added.
