Taapsee Pannu Called Out As ‘Hypocrite’ For Supporting Anurag Kashyap; 2018 Post Goes Viral
Mumbai: Taapsee Pannu on Sunday drew the ire of social media users for supporting Anurag Kashyap over a sexual harassment row.
On Saturday, actress Payal Ghosh had accused Anurag of sexual misconduct in a tweet.
Taapsee, who worked with Anurag in 2018 film ‘Manmarziyaan’, shared a picture with the director and wrote, “For you, my friend, are the biggest feminist I know. See you on the sets soon of yet another piece of art that shows how powerful and significant women are in the world you create (sic).”

Exposing her hypocrisy on the issue, the users reminded her of her 2018 post in which she had talked about women embarrassing their fellow women by not standing by the movement.
