Mumbai: After Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise, several celebrities and politicians had demanded a CBI probe in his death suspecting a foul play.
Now after a month, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has joined the bandwagon and demanded a probe by the central investigating agency into Sushant’s ‘mysterious’ death.
Rhea took to her social media handle to request Home Minister Amit Shah to look into the matter and order a CBI probe in Sushant’s case as soon as possible.
“Respected @amitshahofficial sir, I’m Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise. I have complete faith in the government, however, in the interest of justice, I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter. I only want to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step. Yours sincerely Rhea Chakraborty,” wrote Rhea.

Just hours before demanding a CBI probe in Sushant’s case, Rhea had posted on her Instagram handle that she was getting rape-murder threats on social media platforms.
Some social media users were threatening to rape and murder her if she did not kill herself, revealed Rhea.
Posting a screenshot of the threat which she had received on social media, Rhea requested the cyber crime cell to look into the matter and take strong action against the miscreants.

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. He was in a relationship with Rhea Chakraborty and as per some tabloids, the two were planning to get hitched in November this year.
