Bhubaneswar: Akash M Ambani, son of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, is slated to Odisha’s Puri on Tuesday night and offer prayers at Shree Jagannath Temple in the pilgrim town.
As per sources, Akash is scheduled to arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar airport by a special aircraft around 10.45 pm tonight. He is slated to proceed to Puri from the airport by road.
He is likely to reach Puri around midnight and then visit the 12th century shrine for darshan of the sibling deities. After paying obeisance to Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra in the shrine and seeking the blessings of the Trinity, Akash is slated to return to Bhubaneswar and fly back home.
Akash, who is the chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL), is the elder son of Mukesh Ambani and brother of Anant Ambani.
Earlier in April last year, Anant Ambani had visited Puri and offered prayers to the Holy Trinity at Lord Jagannath temple. This was Anant’s second visit to the 12th-century shrine ahead of his marriage with Radhika Merchant.
