Anurag Kashyap Is Not the ‘Bad Boy’ of Bollywood, Certifies Saiyami Kher
Mumbai: Actress Saiyami Kher is all praise for Anurag Kashyap, the director of her recently-released film ‘Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai.’
Saiyami, who is on cloud nine after the success of ‘Choked’, took to her Twitter handle to share her experience of working with Anurag.
The actress stated that the filmmaker is not the ‘bad boy of Bollywood’, as many believe him to be.
Recalling their first meeting, she said that when Anurag called her to his Versova residence, even before she could say anything he said, “My parents live with me. You don’t have to worry.”
She shared a black and white picture of Anurag hugging her, and said that during the making of ‘Choked’, she came to know that the filmmaker is a man with no filters and is a child at heart.
“He became a friend, mentor and sounding board,” said Saiyami.
Here’s what Saiyami tweeted about Anurag:
(Long overdue. Long thread)
The first time I met @anuragkashyap72 he called me to his Versova house. Before I could say anything, he said, “My parents live with me. You don’t have to worry!” pic.twitter.com/pexZNF487u

It was a typical chaotic Indian household. Parents looking for a newspaper, the doorbell constantly ringing, Shrilalji furiously cooking for the increasing guests, a cat strutting around & AK looking for just one quiet corner in his own home.

With him you know you get the whole truth. When he loves your work he jumps, dances, cries & expresses joy; if he doesn’t he just says it. The man has no filters. That is perhaps both his boon & his bane.
