Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has extended the deadline for submission of online applications for its Ekamra Residency housing project at Subudhipur to November 30.
The earlier deadline was October 31, providing prospective homebuyers an additional month to apply for the residential scheme.
Spread across approximately 7.34 acres, Ekamra Residency is a modern housing project offering a mix of 2BHK and 2BHK-plus-study apartments. Under the current allotment scheme, BDA has invited applications for 496 flats across two blocks, comprising 288 two-bedroom-plus-study apartments and 208 two-bedroom apartments.
The allotment of apartments will be conducted through a lottery system to ensure a transparent and systematic selection process for eligible applicants.
In a major relief to prospective buyers, BDA has announced that the Rs 10,000 application fee will be adjusted against the final cost of the flat. Applicants who are unsuccessful in the allotment process will receive a full refund of their Rs 2.1 lakh deposit.
Successful allottees will also enjoy several financial benefits, including a complete exemption from Goods and Services Tax (GST) and a 5 per cent exemption on stamp duty. The ready-to-move-in apartments will be allotted on a freehold basis and will come with one year of complimentary maintenance.
The residential complex features earthquake-resistant reinforced cement concrete (RCC) structures and modern amenities such as a swimming pool, gymnasium, sewage treatment plant, water recharge system and round-the-clock CCTV surveillance.
Applicants must first create a Unique Account Number (UAN), which is mandatory for carrying out transactions through BDA’s Property Allotment System. During registration, applicants are required to furnish valid documents as proof of their date of birth and residential address.
