Bhubaneswar: Schools across Bhubaneswar put up an impressive performance in the CBSE Class XII Board Examinations 2026, the results of which were declared on Wednesday.
While the overall pass percentage dropped to 85.20 from last year’s 88.39, Bhubaneswar region recorded 81.71.
SAI International Education Group achieved a perfect 100% first-division rate across its schools, while KiiT International School recorded an impressive 98% first division. Mothers Public School, Unit-1, also produced stellar outcomes with several students scoring 90% and above.
SAI International Education Group
The SAI International Education Group has raised the bar with outstanding results from both SAI International School (SIS) and SAI International Residential School (SIRS). Both institutions maintained their legacy of 100% first-division results. At SAI International School (SIS), the overall average stood at 88.6%, as 22.3% of students scored above 95%, 47.4% scored above 90% and 91.2% scored above 75%.
School toppers Tarun Tapan Bhuyan and Vatsal Agarwal both achieved 98.8% in Humanities and Commerce streams respectively, while Tamanna Bal topped the Science stream with 98.4%. Several students also secured perfect 100 marks in individual subjects like Psychology, Business Studies, and Biology.
At SAI International Residential School (SIRS), the overall average was 87.23% with 19.7% scoring above 95%, 39.8% scoring above 90% and 87.11% scoring above 75%.
Toppers included Soumili Maitra (98.6%, Humanities), Rama Krushna Panda (96.8%, Commerce), and Jayesh Agrawal (94%, Science).

KiiT International School
KiiT International School reported a 98% first-division result, with 35% of students scoring above 90% and an impressive school average of 84.2%. Stream toppers included Anwesha Sundaray (98.4%, Science), Tamanna Agarwal (98.4%, Commerce), and Saanvi S Patel (98%, Humanities). The school also highlighted its inclusive SEN Global initiative, where all students with special needs passed in the first division, with the highest scorer achieving 92%.
Founder, KIIT & KISS Dr Achyuta Samanta congratulated the students and faculty, noting the consistent excellence and the resilience shown by SEN Global participants.
Mothers Public School
Mothers Public School delivered a strong performance with 74 students scoring 90% and above.
Science: Pratik Kumar Sahoo topped with 98.2%, followed by Shubh Keshari (96.6%) and Subhasmita Sahoo (96.4%). 28 students scored 90%+.
Commerce: Deshna Jain and Bharat Jain jointly topped with 97%. 19 students scored 90%+.
Humanities: Ananya Tiwari led with 98%, followed by Bhumika Samantray (97%) and Fatema Ukani (96.2%). 27 students scored 90%+.
