Bollywood Drug Probe: Deepika’s Manager Karishma Prakash ‘Untraceable’, Says NCB

Mumbai: Actress Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash, who is being investigated by the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) in a drug case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has been “untraceable”, officials said on Monday.

After Prakash failed to appear before the NCB or reply to the summons, the central agency has handed over the summons to her mother and owners/colleagues of Kwaan talent agency, an NCB source told IANS.

“It is true that Prakash has gone untraceable after being summoned for questioning,” an NCB official told the news agency.

Prakash was summoned by the NCB on October 27. However, it cannot be verified that the employees of Kwan Talent Management have been called for questioning, the official told IANS.

Prakash was asked to appear before the NCB again after it recovered 1.7 gm of charas and some bottles of CBD oil from her premises. Deepika and Prakash both have been questioned by the NCB earlier.
