COVID-19: 2775 Patients Recover, 2604 Test Positive In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The total recovered cases of COVID-19 went up to 2,35,763 after 2775 more patients were discharged from hospitals in the state on Wednesday.

According to the Health and Family Welfare department, Khurda district reported maximum number of 500 recoveries on the day, followed by 189 from Nuapada, 183 from Cuttack, 148 from Bargarh, 136 from Kendrapada, 123 from Angul, 117 from Jajpur, 114 from Bhadrak, 105 from Sambalpur and 100 from Mayurbhanj.

Similarly, 89 patients recovered from the disease in Balangir, 79 in Keonjhar, 73 in Nabarangpur, 71 in Sundargarh, 70 in Malkangiri, 69 in Dhenkanal, 67 in Balasore, 58 in Jagatsinghpur, 48 in Kandhamal, 47 in Sonepur, 46 in Rayagada, 43 in Puri, 39 each in Jharsuguda and Kalahandi, 35 in Koraput, 30 in Nayagarh, 23 in Ganjam, 20 in Deogarh, 7 each in Boudh and Gajapati. Besides, there 100 recovered cases from State Pool.

Meanwhile, the COVID-19 tally in the state touched 2,59,541 on the day with 2604 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
