Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive cases in the city made a slight jump from 21 on Tuesday to 39 in the last 24 hours.
Among the new cases, 6 were from quarantine centres and the rest 33 were local contacts. As many as 36 patients recovered from the disease in the city during the period, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Among the local contacts, 3 cases were detected in Patia and 2 each in Chandrasekharpur, Nandan Vihar, Nayapalli, Saliasharee Vihar, Shastri Nagar and Sahid Nagar.
With the day’s addition, the positive tally has gone up to 31474 while 30850 have recovered and 234 succumbed to the disease. There are 369 active cases in the city at present.
