Bhubaneswar: Amid the COVID-19 resurgence scare, Odisha saw a slight rise in daily caseload with 82 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state has been reporting around 70 and fewer cases for the past few days.
The I & PR Department on Wednesday said that these fresh cases have been detected in 20 districts. While 48 are from different quarantine centres, 34 are local contact cases.
Mayurbhanj district recorded the highest of 11 fresh cases followed by Sudargarh (7).
