A representative from Facebook visited a man in Delhi to check his credentials over a controversial political post.
The man, who was expectedly surprised, said the representative asked him for his Aadhaar card and wanted to ascertain if he had indeed shared a political post on India’s most-used social media network.
According to legal expert Pavan Duggal, this is a violation of a user’s privacy.
