Noida: Farmers from Uttar Pradesh, under the aegis of BKU (Bhartiya Kisan Union), gathered around Monday noon at Maha Maya flyover, Noida to begin their march to the Parliament complex in Delhi, where the Winter Session is currently going on. They are conducting the march to press for five key demands for compensation and benefits under the new agricultural laws.

The planned protest resulted in massive traffic jams at the Noida-Delhi borders as police scaled up security measures, reported the India Today. Barricades were installed. Cops were checking vehicles and diverting routes in Delhi-NCR.
