Fighting COVID: Delhi Lockdown Extended By Another Week

New Delhi: Lockdown in the national capital has been extended for another week.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, made the announcement through Twitter on Saturday evening.

Lockdown was clamped on April 19, and extended on April 25.

One of the worst-hit cities in the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in India, Delhi has been facing acute medical oxygen crisis and running out of space to cremate those who are succumbing to the deadly virus.

Delhi, with over 99,000 active coronavirus cases currently, reported 375 deaths in the last 24 hours.
