Mumbai: An FIR has been lodged against Rakhi Sawant and her advocate Falguni Brahmbhatt, based on a complaint by Sherlyn Chopra.
Rakhi and Brahmbhatt have been booked under sections 354 A, 500, 504, 509 of IPC, and IT ACT 67A, Sherlyn tweeted.

Former Bigg Boss contestant Rakhi and Sherlyn have been engaged in a war of words over director Sajid Khan’s participation in Bigg Boss 16.
Rakhi recently filed a complaint against Sherlyn at Oshiwara police station, accusing the latter of making derogatory comments and defaming her. Rakhi told mediapersons she has evidence that Sherlyn has blackmailed many men.
Now Sherlyn has hit back.
Sherlyn was among a clutch of women who accused Sajid of sexual assault during the #MeToo movement in 2018.
Recently, as the chorus of protest against Sajid grew following his entry into Bigg Boss house, Sherlyn filed a complaint against the filmmaker.
Following Sherlyn’s complaint, Rakhi slammed Sherlyn while defending Sajid.
“Kyun lega jab woh (Sajid Khan) kusurwar hi nahin hain. Uske khilaf kisine gawahi nahin diya, court ne Sajid Khan ko saza-e-faasi ya kala paani ki saza hi nahin di. Tum makeup 4 kilo ka laga ke, saree pehen ke, media ke samne dusro pe dosh lagate ho. Sharam nahin ati tumhe? Chullu bhar paani me doob nahin jati tum (Why would anyone take you seriously when Sajid Khan is not at fault. No witness has testified against him, nor has the court punished him. Don’t you feel ashamed of yourself, making such allegations in front of the media while wearing makeup and saree? How do you sleep at night)?” Rakhi had said.
