Mumbai: Comedian and streamer Samay Raina has confirmed that actors Alia Bhatt and Sharvari will appear on the second season of ‘India’s Got Latent’, sparking a frenzy online.
Soon after the announcement, netizens expressed excitement over the star-studded episode of the controversial show. with many joking, “Netflix ka set tutega ab.”
Last month, pictures of Alia and Sharvari from the sets of Raina’s ‘India’s Got Latent’ went viral, sparking speculation that the comedian would kick off the second season of the show with the two actors as special guests.
Raina made it official as he took to Instagram and shared the YouTube link to the first episode of the new season, with Alia and Sharvari featured on the thumbnail.
Alia and Sharvari are seen sharing a laugh, with Alia sporting a cap on which the word ‘Alpha’ was written.
Also seen in the image are comedian Ashish Solanki, and Balraj Ghai, hinting at the panel lineup for the episode.
Tagging Alia and Sharvari, Samay captioned the post: “Are we ready to start the show?”
Hailing Samay for his comeback, a fan commented, “Bro got banned, deleted the whole season, and came back with a Netflix deal. Absolute peak internet culture 📈”🍋🌶️.”
