Bhubaneswar: Five new Covid-19 positive cases were reported in the city in the last 24 hours, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) informed on Saturday.
Of the new cases, one is from a quarantine centre and four are local contacts.
Of the local contact cases, two are from Gajapati Nagar and one each from Dumduma and Jagannath Nagar.
Ten patients have been cured of the disease during the period, the BMC said.
A total of 31,910 people have been infected by the novel coronavirus in Bhubaneswar so far, of which 31,465 have recovered. While 247 have succumbed to the disease, there are 177 active cases at present.
