Bhanjanagar: Police on Wednesday arrested four persons in connection with the alleged gangrape of a Plus II student at Bhanjanagar in Ganjam district.
They were identified as Krishna Behera, Shankar Behera, Bikram Keshari Nayak and Gurunath Behera.
According to the complaint lodged by the girl, a student of Belaguntha college, the accused forcibly took her to an abandoned place while she was returning home after college on Tuesday afternoon and took turns to rape her.
Police carried out raids at different places and managed to nab all the four persons involved in the crime.
