New Delhi: The BJP-led NDA is celebrating it emphatic success in the Lok Sabha polls, primarily because of its strong show in the Hindi heartland states.

Madhya Pradesh:27 (2014:27)
Rajasthan: 24 (2014:25)
Bihar: 37 (2014:32)
Significantly, BJP had lost both the MP and Rajasthan state assemblies in the 2018 polls, giving rise to speculation that the saffron party may also perform badly in the Lok Sabha polls.
IN UP, the SP-BSP had forged an alliance to stop the BJP march. The strategy has failed big time as reflected in the voting trends.
