New Delhi: Around the same time as on Thursday, Pakistan launched fresh sorties on Friday evening around 8.30 pm.
Following a similar pattern of 24 hours earlier, drones targeted parts of Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab.
Sirens blared and blasts were heard at Samba, Akhnoor, Poonch, Uri, Jammu and Pathankot.
The Indian air defence system is busy repelling the drone attacks, just like they ensured zero damage on Thursday night.
There was complete blackouts in Jammu, Akhnoor, Ferozepur, and Udhampur.

Evidence of shelling in Jammu region was provided by Omar Abdullah himself.
“Intermittent sounds of blasts, probably heavy artillery, can now be heard from where I am,” Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah wrote on X.
As Jammu and its nearby regions plunged into darkness for the second straight night, Omar urged residents to remain indoors.
“It’s my earnest appeal to everyone in & around Jammu please stay off the streets, stay at home or at the nearest place you can comfortably stay at for the next few hours. Ignore rumours, don’t spread unsubstantiated or unverified stories & we will get through this together,” he posted on X.
The series of latest Pakistani attacks comes even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level security meeting with the chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force, along with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and NSA Ajit Doval.
