Karan Johar Spotted Partying With Kapoors, Trolled For Hypocrisy

Mumbai: Netizens slammed Karan Johar for his hypocrisy on Thursday, a day after he was spotted partying with Neetu Kapoor and family in Mumbai.

Earlier this week, a close friend of KJo had stated that the filmmaker was “broken and shattered” after getting trolled post Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise and was “crying continuously”.

However, the revelations made by KJo’s friend were proved wrong when the filmmaker was seen at the party thrown by Ranbir and Riddhima on their mother Neetu Kapoor’s birthday on Wednesday.

Neetu Kapoor turned 63 on July 8 and to celebrate the D-day, her children Ranbir and Riddhima organized a special dinner for her.

It was a small celebration with only family members and close friends on the guest list, including KJo.

Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram handle to share some pics of the D-day with her fans.

She captioned the pictures as, “The richest are the ones with good relationships !!! All we need is love, support and strength from our friends and family consistently. I feel the richest today.”

However, on seeing Karan Johar partying with the Kapoors, netizens couldn’t hold up their anger and they started trolling him again.

One user wrote, “And all we heard @karanjohar was crying. What an intolerable act.”

Another user wrote, “And we heard that Karan Johar was crying continuously. Doesn’t look like here in the pictures at least.”

After Sushant’s suicide, KJo was brutally trolled for nepotism in the industry. He was slammed for preferring star kids over outsiders for his films.

He was even called out for mocking at Sushant in his chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’.

After being at the receiving end, Karan had distanced himself from social media platforms. One of his close friends had stated that KJo was shattered as his twins and close ones were being attacked. His friend also stated that he feared for Karan as his health was deteriorating day by day.
