Mumbai: Following the stabbing incident at Saif Ali Khan’s Mumbai home six months ago, actor Ronit Roy’s security agency was hired to take care of his security. The actor sustained multiple knife wounds and had to undergo surgery, taking several days to recover.
However, what is not known to many is that after the attack on Saif, his wife Kareena Kapoor’s car was also attacked, leaving her petrified.
“Saif was on way home after being discharged from the hospital. There was a huge crowd, with media and onlookers everywhere. As Kareena was also heading home from the hospital, her car was slightly attacked, which really frightened her,” Ronit revealed in an interview with Hindi Rush.
“Because the media and public were so close, her car got jostled a bit. She was understandably shaken and immediately asked me to bring Saif home. I went to get him, and by the time we returned, security had already been set up, with strong police support in place. Thankfully, things are under control now.”
During the initial security inspection of Saif’s Bandra residence, Ronit noticed loopholes in safety protocols and made several changes.
In the wee hours of January 16, an intruder broke into Saif’s residence with the intention of robbing valuables. As Saif tried to confront the burglar, the latter stabbed the actor multiple times, leaving him seriously injured.
