New Delhi: In its effort to inform the world of Pakistan’s link with terrorism, the Indian Government has released the names of some of the top terrorists killed in Op Sindoor on May 7. On that day, India carried out high-precision strikes on nine terror establishments in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).

The first in the list is Mudassar Khadian Khas alias Mudassar alias Abu Jundal. He was in charge of the Markaz Taiba, Muridke, headquarters of the proscribed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). This proscribed terrorist received a guard of honour at his funeral by the Pakistan Army.

“Wreaths were laid on behalf of the Pakistan Army Chief and chief minister of Pakistan’s Punjab province Maryam Nawaz. His funeral prayer was held in a government school, led by Hafiz Abdul Rauf of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, better known as the LeT. Rauf is also a designated global terrorist. A serving Lieutenant General of the Pakistan Army and the IG of Punjab Police (Pakistan) attended the prayer ceremony,” it has been stated.

The next name is that of Hafiz Muhammed Jameel of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). He was the eldest brother-in-law of JeM founder and proscribed terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar. Jameel is in-charge of the Markaz Subhan Allah, the organisation’s headquarters at Bahawalpur. He was actively involved in radical indoctrination of youth and fundraising for the JeM, the report said.
Mohammad Yusuf Azhar alias Ustad Ji alias Mohd Salim alias Ghosi Sahab was another brother-in-law of Masood Azhar. He was in charge of weapons training for the JeM. He was involved in multiple terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir and one of those wanted for the hijacking of Indian Airlines flight IC-814 to Kandahar.

Khalid alias alias Abu Akasha was affiliated to the LeT. He was involved in multiple terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir. Khalid was also engaged in weapons smuggling from Afghanistan. His funeral was held in Faisalabad and it was attended by senior Pakistan Army officials and the local deputy commissioner.

“Mohammad Hassan Khan of the JeM was the son of Mufti Asghar Khan Kashmiri, the operational commander of the organisation in Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). He played a key role in coordinating terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir,” the report states.
