New York: A Secret Service agent, who was entrusted with the task of providing security to former US President Barrack Obama, faced trouble in 2022 as he brought his girlfriend to the leader’s beachside Hawaii home. This has been revealed by the former official’s ex-girlfriend, Koryeah Dwanyen, in her book ‘Undercover Heartbreak: A Memoir of Trust and Trauma.’ In her book, she has referred to the agent as ‘Dale.’
‘Offered to have sex in Michelle’s bathroom’
Dwanyen claimed that Dale had invited her to Obama and Michelle’s residence in their absence, reported the ABC. “No one will know,” she quoted the agent as saying. According to the author, she was also assured that if of anybody would come to know then only the former official would be in trouble. The woman has also claimed in her book that ‘Dale’ offered to have sex with her in the then US First Lady, Michelle’s bathroom, describing it as ‘like a mile-high club.’
Is the incident described in the book true?
Anthony Guglielmi, the chief of communications for the US Secret Service, revealed in an interview to the ABC News that an incident resembling the one mentioned in the memoir had actually occurred. He claimed that the agent was consequently dismissed from his job after a thorough investigation.
“On Nov. 6, 2022, a Secret Service agent involved in protective functions brought an individual who did not have authorized access into a protectee’s residence without permission,” he told in the interview.
“As soon as the Secret Service became aware of the incident, the agent involved was immediately suspended and after a full investigation, terminated.”
Where did Dwanyen meet the agent?
Dwanyen reportedly met the agent while she was on a holiday at Martha’s Vineyard. The agent was tasked with keeping the Obama family safe. She revealed that the agent had claimed that he was divorced. But she found later that he was still married.
