Low Pressure Over Bay Likely To Concentrate Into Depression In 24 Hours: IMD
Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department on Saturday tweeted that the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is likely to concentrate into a depression during the next 24 hours.

The low-pressure area currently lies over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining north Andaman Sea. The depression is likely to form over central Bay of Bengal. It is very likely to move westnorthwestwards and cross north Andhra Pradesh coast as depression during the October 12 morning, it added in another tweet.

On Friday, the IMD had issued an orange warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall for south coastal Odisha under the influence of this low pressure from October 11 to 13.
