Pattamundai: A man was hacked to death at Chahapada under Pattamundai
block in Kendrapara district.
The deceased was identified as Karunakar Nayak. His body was recovered
from a house on Sunday.

On being alerted about the incident, police rushed to the spot and
recovered a knife and one billhook near the body.
The neighbours suspect that a dispute over property in the family led
to the murder. However, the exact reason behind the death could be
ascertained after a thorough investigation, police sources said.
