Keonjhar: A man killed his younger brother over suspected family fued at Damanipada under Barbil police limits in Keonjhar district on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Dambru Champia.
Quoting local residents, police said a family rivalry was the ostensible reason behind the brutal murder as Dambru had an heated argument with his elder brother Radhe the previous day. Irked over the incident, Radhe attacked his brother with a sharp weapon, killing him on the spot.
Police seized the body and sent it for postmortem. A team of Barbil police has launched a search operation to nab the accused.
