Cuttack: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s online Twitter pool on the design for redevelopment of Cuttack railway station has evoked huge response.
More than 70% respondents cast their votes in favour of the proposed design. About 74% voters gave the rating of Very Good and Excellent for the design.
Vaishnaw had uploaded the design of Cuttack railway station in Twitter and sought public opinion on the proposed design on Saturday. The design was inspired on the theme of Cuttack Barabati Fort architecture.
Minister had requested public to give rating on the design and based on the public rating, further course of action would be taken.
The people were asked to give a rating on a scale of 10 to the design. 10 out of 10 would be rated as extraordinary, 9 as excellent, 7 as very good and 5 as good, the minister said in the tweet.
Following the overwhelming response in its support, the design has been finalised by the Railway Minister.
