According to a Home department notification, DIG of Police, STF, CID, Crime Branch, Himanshu Kumar Lal has been posted as DIG of Police, Special Armed Police (SAP).
On his return from Central deputation, RP Singh has been posted as Director General, Prisons & Director, Correctional Services.
Besides, Additional DG of Police, Prisons & Director, Correctional Services, BN Jha has been attached to the Home department while IG of Police, Vigilance, Yatindra Koyal will take charge as IG of Police, STF, CID, Crime Branch.
Apart from this, Registrar, Sambalpur University, Dr (Mrs) Soorya Thankappan has been transferred and posted as DIG of Police, Vigilance.
Similarly, Additional SP, Biju Patnaik State Police Academy (BPSPA), Bhubaneswar, Pravakar Swain will take charge of new assignment as the in-charge SP, Police Training Institute, Byree, while Additional SP, Sambalpur, Srikrishna Behera has been posted as the in-charge AIG of Police, Marine, Bhubaneswar, the notification added.
