Bhubaneswar: Mitali Chinara, a professor in the Department of Analytical and Applied Economics, has been appointed as chairperson of the Postgraduate Council at Utkal University in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar.
The Vice Chancellor, invoking Statute-252(2) of the Orissa University First Statute 1990, appointed Chinara to this position. She will serve as the chairperson until further notice or until her retirement, whichever comes first, according to an office order.
Notably, Odisha Governor and Chancellor of Universities, Hari Babu Kambhampati, recently appointed Prof Jagneshwar Dandapat as the in-charge Vice Chancellor of Utkal University.
