Boudh: A pall of gloom descended on Kumbhia village in Angul district, where the Dehury family had recently celebrated the wedding of their son Jiten Dehury, on Sunday.
Just 10 days after his wedding, Jiten met with a serious accident while on his way to Sonepur from Kunbahi when a speeding mini truck rammed into the motorcycle he was riding along with another youth, Akash Bagh, on Saturday midnight. The duo was rushed to VIMSAR, Burla, in critical condition. Jiten later succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, Boudh Town police have initiated a probe into the incident.
