Odisha Cabinet Nod To Provide Land To 1.9 Lakh Slum Families

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet on Friday gave its nod to give land to 1.9 lakh families in 938 slums in five major urban areas of the state.

The Cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, okayed nine proposals. It also gave its nod to implement the Seventh Pay Commission recommendations for teachers, which will benefit over 26,000 teachers and non-faculty staff.
