Odisha CM Flags Off First AC Bus To Puri From Ganjam’s Seragarh
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday flagged off the Jagannath Express AC bus service between Seragarh in Ganjam district and Puri. The bus service has been started by OSRTC.
Launching the bus service through video conference, the Chief Minister said that with this new bus service, people from Seragarh will be travel to Puri comfortably and have the darshan of Lord Jagannath at the pilgrim town.
The Chief Minister said this bus service will be especially helpful for many people of Ganjam who go to Puri for ‘Habisa’ during the month of Kartika.
Naveen said Ganjam is always ahead, be it 5-T School transformation or temple transformation. Maa Tara Tarini’s temple transformation work has brought joy to the people of the district. Similarly, 5-T High School Transformation programme has created enthusiasm among students and parents.
The Chief Minister congratulated everyone for winning the best district council award at the national level in the field of Panchayat Raj. Ganjam district can achieve many more successes in the coming days if the blessings and cooperation of the people continue, he said.
Berhampur MP Chandrashekhar Sahu, Ganjam District Collector, OSRTC officials and Panchayat representatives of Seragarh were present in the event.
