Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday appealed all MLAs to join hands with the government in the fight against COVID-19.
The Chief Minister also read out an oath with the legislators pledging to take care of their respective Assembly constituencies by creating awareness to check the spread of COVID-19.
The legislators pledged to educate people to use mask properly, adhere to Covid appropriate behaviour, hand washing, social distancing and working together to keep the coronavirus infection at bay.
Naveen had said sought the cooperation of public representatives at the all-party meeting to save precious lives. He said, “As public representatives your contact with people is maximum. I would request each one of you to personally take care of yourselves and your families.”
